<!-- Every URL here must be a prerendered route with its own canonical
     (trailing-slash form, matching scripts/prerender.mjs output).
     Never add app/functional routes (/signup, /auth, /demo): they serve the SPA
     shell, carry X-Robots-Tag noindex (netlify.toml), and only generate
     "Alternate page" / "not indexed" noise in Search Console.

     CORRECTED 2026-08-19: this comment used to list /legal/* alongside those,
     on the grounds that legal pages "serve the SPA shell and carry noindex".
     Half of that was true and half was not. They did serve the shell — which is
     why they are now in scripts/prerender.mjs and have real static HTML. But
     they were never in netlify.toml's noindex list; that list covers /auth,
     /login, /signup, /simple-signup, /dashboard/*, /master-admin*, /group-admin*,
     /dealership/*, /sales-portal*, /welcome/*, /support*, and /li/*, and its own
     comment says legal pages stay indexable. So the legal and trust pages were
     crawlable, indexable, empty, and absent from the sitemap — the worst of
     every option. They are prerendered and listed below now.

     No hreflang alternates on the legal entries: the four trust pages are
     English-only by design (Terms §19 makes English the governing language),
     and the translated privacy/terms pages have no per-language URL to point
     at — language is a client-side preference, not a route. -->
